2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Carol J. Riley, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | November 29, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Carol Riley was born in Waukegan to Cecil and | ||||||
6 | Marion (Andersen) Brecheisen on February 17, 1947; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Carol Riley greatly enjoyed spending time with her | ||||||
8 | family, especially her grandchildren; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Carol Riley was preceded in death by her parents | ||||||
10 | and her brother-in-law, Terrence Tiernan; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Carol Riley is survived by her husband of 50 | ||||||
12 | years, William C. Riley; her sister, Marjery Tiernan; her | ||||||
13 | children, Julie (Todd) Niemiec, Robert (Andrea), and Darren | ||||||
14 | (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Sara, Grace, Mark, Brett, | ||||||
15 | Erin, Emily, and Shane; therefore, be it

16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
18 | Carol J. Riley and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
19 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
20 | further
