| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Alderman Robert Wilkening of Park Ridge, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on August 4, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Alderman Wilkening has been a resident of Park | ||||||
| 6 | Ridge for 39 years; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Alderman Wilkening was the President of Wilkening & | ||||||
| 8 | Company Management Consultants,
founded in 1989; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Alderman Wilkening served as Third Ward Alderman | ||||||
| 10 | since of May 2015; he previously served 2-terms (8 years) on | ||||||
| 11 | the Board of Education for Elementary
School District #64 (Park | ||||||
| 12 | Ridge-Niles); while on the District #64 Board, he served as | ||||||
| 13 | Chair of the Finance
and Personnel Committees and participated | ||||||
| 14 | in 3 teacher-union contract negotiations with the
teacher's | ||||||
| 15 | union; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Alderman Wilkening is survived by his wife of 40 | ||||||
| 17 | years, Gail, and their 2 children; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 20 | Alderman Robert Wilkening, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||

| 1 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
| 2 | it further
| ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
