| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of
Laverne J. Watson of Brighton, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on June 15, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Laverne Watson was born on February 3, 1918, in | ||||||
| 6 | Fidelity; he was the son of James and Lottie (Tucker) Watson; | ||||||
| 7 | he married Arlene (Heyen) Watson on February 20, 1937, in | ||||||
| 8 | Jerseyville; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Laverne Watson was a farmer for many years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Laverne Watson was preceded in death by his wife; | ||||||
| 11 | his parents; his sisters, Verle Sullivan, Verna Marshall, Vera | ||||||
| 12 | Bock, and Eveyln Dwyer; and his brothers, Earl Watson, Melvin | ||||||
| 13 | Watson, Paul Watson, Alfred Watson, and Charles Raymond Watson; | ||||||

| 15 | WHEREAS, Laverne Watson is survived by his son and | ||||||
| 16 | daughter-in-law, Robert (Julia) Watson; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 17 | Dale Watson, Jeff (Amy) Watson, Linda (Sean) Patterson, and | ||||||
| 18 | Jennifer (Chris) Watson-Gushleff; his great-grandchildren, | ||||||
| 19 | Shaun Watson, Korin Fisher, Joel Watson, Joseph Watson, | ||||||
| 20 | Johnanthan Watson, Laura Watson, Seth Patterson, Sasha | ||||||
| 21 | Patterson, Kevin Patterson, and Melinda Patterson; his sisters | ||||||
