2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Alicia Mary Scandiff, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | August 8, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was born in Chicago to John and | ||||||
6 | Kathleen Smith on December 12, 1923; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff retired from Illinois Bell | ||||||
8 | Telephone Company in the 1960s; she also worked as a realtor | ||||||
9 | for Coldwell Banker, and was the first parish secretary at St. | ||||||
10 | Dismas Catholic Church of Waukegan; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was a member of the Red Hat | ||||||
12 | Society; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was preceded in death by her | ||||||
14 | parents; her husband, George Albert Scandiff; her son, George | ||||||
15 | R. Scandiff; and her sister, Eileen Remington; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff is survived by her children, | ||||||
17 | Sherry (Joe) Manning, Gary (Barbara) Scandiff, John Scandiff, | ||||||
18 | and Charles (Vicky) Scandiff; her sister, Karen (David) Harms; | ||||||
19 | her 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, | ||||||
20 | nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Alicia Mary Scandiff, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Alicia Scandiff as an expression of | ||||||
