| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Emery Rehn of Moline, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | October 24, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was born in Moline to Elmer and Anna | ||||||
| 6 | (Peterson) Rehn on October 3, 1925; he served in the U.S. Army; | ||||||
| 7 | and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn worked at the former JI Case in East | ||||||
| 9 | Moline; he was a member of several farming organizations; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was an avid bowler and baseball fan; | ||||||
| 11 | and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was preceded in death by his sister, | ||||||
| 13 | Lorna Rainey, and his brothers, Harold and Herman Rehn; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn is survived by his wife, Emma; his | ||||||
| 15 | sisters, Gladys Olson and Joyce (Bob) Nelson; and his brother, | ||||||
| 16 | Kenneth Rehn; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 19 | Emery Rehn and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||

| 1 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

| 2 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
