2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Emery Rehn of Moline, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | October 24, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was born in Moline to Elmer and Anna | ||||||
6 | (Peterson) Rehn on October 3, 1925; he served in the U.S. Army; | ||||||
7 | and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn worked at the former JI Case in East | ||||||
9 | Moline; he was a member of several farming organizations; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was an avid bowler and baseball fan; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was preceded in death by his sister, | ||||||
13 | Lorna Rainey, and his brothers, Harold and Herman Rehn; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Emery Rehn is survived by his wife, Emma; his | ||||||
15 | sisters, Gladys Olson and Joyce (Bob) Nelson; and his brother, | ||||||
16 | Kenneth Rehn; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
19 | Emery Rehn and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
