2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of
Golda Mae Gentile of Carterville, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on April 13, 2010; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Golda Gentile was born on November 23, 1929, in | ||||||
6 | rural Williamson County; she was the daughter of William and | ||||||
7 | Pearl (Thomas) Chew; she married Dominick Antonio Rocco "Mimi" | ||||||
8 | Gentile in Piggott, Arkansas on January 22, 1947; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Golda Gentile was a homemaker who enjoyed dressing | ||||||
10 | up, sending flowers, and cheering people up; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Golda Gentile was preceded in death by her | ||||||
12 | husband; her parents; her sisters, Pauline Bollinger and Edna | ||||||
13 | Dunning; and her brother, Billy Chew; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Golda Gentile is survived by her sons, Jim and | ||||||
15 | Judy Gentile and Marty Gentile; her grandchildren, Jill and | ||||||
16 | Mike Lentz, Janae and Brad McGee, Justin and Shanna Gentile, | ||||||
17 | Joy and Dustin Craig, Jason Gentile, and Brittany and Sam | ||||||
18 | Garten; her great-grandchildren, Courtney McGee, Morgan Lentz, | ||||||
19 | Kelsey Lentz, Reese Gentile, Dominick Gentile, Nolan Gentile, | ||||||
20 | Hudson Craig, Delaney Craig, and Layla Garten; her brother, | ||||||
