| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Edward "Ken" Rozga of Lake Villa, who | ||||||
| 4 | recently passed away; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He married Mary 61 years ago on November 11, 1950 | ||||||
| 6 | and moved to Lake Villa 5 years later; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, He was a charter member of Prince of Peace | ||||||
| 8 | Catholic Church and worked for Amana for 33 years; he was a | ||||||
| 9 | veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Wheeling | ||||||
| 10 | VFW, and past president of the Venetian Village Civic | ||||||
| 11 | Association; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Edward Rozga was the beloved husband of Mary; the | ||||||
| 13 | cherished father of Constance (Thomas) Eadon, Nancy (David) | ||||||
| 14 | Jucius, Douglas (Patricia), Wayne (Sharon), and Phillip | ||||||
| 15 | (Jennifer); the grandfather of Michael, John, Renee, Amanda, | ||||||
| 16 | Rhett, and Stephanie; and the brother of Donald and the late | ||||||
| 17 | Arlene Churchill and Lorraine Winiecke; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 20 | his family and friends, the passing of Edward Rozga; and be it | ||||||
| 21 | further
