2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Ann Marie "Dolly" Mulvey of Crest Hill, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on June 25, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was born on January 7, 1937 to Frank J. | ||||||
6 | Sternisha and Anna A. Galajdik; she graduated Lockport Township | ||||||
7 | High School in 1955; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey began her employment at Merichka's | ||||||
9 | Restaurant; she retired from Chaney-Monge School after 12 years | ||||||
10 | of service; she also enjoyed being an Avon lady for many years; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was a member of St. Anne Catholic | ||||||
13 | Church's Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and choir and was the | ||||||
14 | 2011 CCW Woman of the Year; she was also a member of Ladies | ||||||
15 | Auxiliary of Cantigny Post VFW #367, St. Genevieve Lodge #108, | ||||||
16 | the Slovenian Union of America, the Joliet Rivals Ladies | ||||||
17 | Auxiliary, the Crest Hill Homemakers, and the Chaney Monge | ||||||
18 | Parent-Teachers Organization; she loved to sing in the St. Anne | ||||||
19 | church choir and enjoyed Sunday picnics at St. Joe's Park; and

20 | WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was preceded in death by her husband of | ||||||
21 | 53 years, Robert W. Mulvey; her parents; her 3 brothers, Joseph |

2 | Sternisha; and her 2 sisters, Theresa (Norm) Wittkofski and | ||||||

4 | WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was the loving mother of Beverly A. | ||||||
5 | (Ralph) McCutcheon, Barbara A. Fenoglio, Robert M. Mulvey, and | ||||||
6 | Maureen A. (Scott) Hasenjaeger; the cherished grandmother of 9 | ||||||
7 | grandchildren, April (Ronnie) Baynard, Holly McCutcheon, Brad | ||||||
8 | McCutcheon, Terry (Shelly) Fenoglio, Robert Fenoglio, Amber | ||||||
9 | (Patrick) Cox, William Fenoglio, Michael Mulvey, and Brenna | ||||||
10 | Mulvey; the proud great-grandmother of Damien Buchanan, Logan | ||||||
11 | and Liam Fenoglio, Calean and Ryleigh Cox, and Madailein | ||||||
12 | Baynard; she was survived by one sister, Pauline (Tom) | ||||||
13 | Mihelich; 4 brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Sternisha, George | ||||||
14 | (Mary Ann) Sternisha, Joseph Sternisha, and Walter (Sherril) | ||||||
15 | Sternisha; one sister-in-law, Judith Wetherbee; and many | ||||||
16 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
19 | Ann Marie "Dolly" Mulvey, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
20 | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
21 | further
