| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Ronnie James Boddie of North Chicago, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 15, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie was born on December 10, 1949 in | ||||||
| 6 | Memphis, Tennessee; his parents were Naomi Boddie and Charles | ||||||
| 7 | Makins; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie graduated from North Chicago High | ||||||
| 9 | School in 1968; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie served as a member of the United | ||||||
| 11 | States Army during the Vietnam War; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie worked at Defense Automated | ||||||
| 13 | Printing Services in Great Lakes for 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie was preceded in death by his mother, | ||||||
| 15 | Naomi Boddie; his grandparents, Samuel and Frenchie Boddie; his | ||||||
| 16 | sister, Fannie Henderson; his uncle, Robert Boddie; his aunts, | ||||||
| 17 | Arguster Boddie and Nancy Yarbrough; and his father-in-law, | ||||||
| 18 | Bishop Calvin Watkins; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Ronnie Boddie is survived by his loving wife of 30 | ||||||

| 2 | sisters, Belria Pittman and Amber Renfroe; his | ||||||
| 3 | brothers-in-law, Johnnie Henderson and Calvin George Gibson; | ||||||
| 4 | his mother-in-law, Essie Watkins; his aunts, Beulah Boddie, | ||||||
| 5 | Evelyn Boddie, Lois Wilborn, and Rose Keaton; his uncle, Pastor | ||||||
| 6 | Edward (Linda) Ervin; his nephew, Anthony Boddie; his special | ||||||
| 7 | friend, Rezoila McLaughlin; and his many nieces, nephews, | ||||||
