| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of David B. "Dave" Fuller of Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 16, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller was born in Moline to W. Stanley and | ||||||
6 | Julia (Erickson) Fuller on August 25, 1945; he graduated from | ||||||
7 | Moline High School in 1963 and married Mary Lou Waterman on | ||||||
8 | December 31, 1994; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years | ||||||
10 | with deployments to Japan, Alaska, and Hawaii; he flew as a | ||||||
11 | Radar Tech in the Naval Air Corp P-2 Orion aircraft and became | ||||||
12 | an electronics instructor at Moffett Field in Mountain View, | ||||||
13 | California; he retired from the Reserve in 1985; and

14 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller returned to Moline in 1976 and owned | ||||||
15 | and operated the family business, Fuller Printery, for 45 | ||||||
16 | years; most recently, he was a driver for CTD Transport in Rock | ||||||
17 | Island; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a | ||||||
19 | former member of the First Christian Church in Moline; he | ||||||
20 | enjoyed Chicago sports, fishing, traveling, studying history | ||||||
21 | and the Bible, and playing with his dog; he especially loved |

1 | the activities of his grandchildren; and
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
3 | and his brothers, Jack and Jim; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Dave Fuller is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; his | ||||||
5 | children, Jeff Fuller, Kristina (Joe) Gende, Karla (Terry) | ||||||
6 | Grafton, Kim (Mike) Schimmel, and Kathy Fuller; his | ||||||
7 | stepdaughters, Becky (Mike) Matykiewicz and Kelly Ohlweiler; | ||||||
8 | his sister, Dorothy (Tom) Booth; his grandchildren, Justin, | ||||||
9 | India, Morgan, Jason, Quinn, Kirsi, Ellie, Abbie, Mollie, | ||||||
10 | Brooke, Sara, Eva, Kaleia, and Axel; and his pampered pet, | ||||||
11 | C.B.; therefore, be it

12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
14 | David B. "Dave" Fuller and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
15 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
16 | further

17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
18 | presented to the family of Dave Fuller as an expression of our | ||||||
19 | deepest sympathy.
