| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Lawrence T. Frank, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | October 29, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was born on May 4, 1935 in | ||||||
| 6 | Rochester, Michigan; his parents were Joseph T. and Katherine | ||||||
| 7 | Dykstra Frank; he married Valerie B. Schmidt on July 7, 1956; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank retired from the State of Illinois | ||||||
| 10 | after many years of service as an aeronautical engineer; he was | ||||||
| 11 | also a part-time farmer; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was a member of Good Shepherd | ||||||
| 13 | Lutheran Church in Rochester; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 15 | brother, David Frank; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank is survived by his wife, Valerie; | ||||||
| 17 | his son, Todd (Mary Lou) Frank; his daughters, Terri (Robert) | ||||||
| 18 | Fleck and Tricia Garrett; his 11 grandchildren; his 3 | ||||||
| 19 | great-grandchildren; his sisters, Arnolda Frank and Henrietta | ||||||
| 20 | Holefca; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawrence T. Frank; and | ||||||
| 4 | be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Lawrence Frank as an expression of | ||||||
| 7 | our sympathy.
