| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James "Jimmy" S. Zachar of Huntley, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on May 21, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Zachar was born in Chicago to Stanley and | ||||||
| 6 | Barbara (Krughoff) Zachar in 1948; he served in the United | ||||||
| 7 | States Army in the Vietnam War, where he was decorated with | ||||||
| 8 | three honorary service medals; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Zachar worked as a truck driver and | ||||||
| 10 | specialty hauling contractor in the Chicago area; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, James Zachar loved to tinker and have garage sales | ||||||
| 12 | with his many "found treasures"; he was an avid fisherman; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, James Zachar was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
| 14 | his stepson, William MacShane; and his step-granddaughter, | ||||||
| 15 | Natalie MacShane; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, James Zachar is survived by his loving wife of 38 | ||||||
| 17 | years, Roberta M. St. Clair; his stepchildren, Susan Kuhlman, | ||||||
| 18 | Dennis (Kim) MacShane, Therese (Jack) Caveney, MaryKay | ||||||
| 19 | MacShane, and Christopher (Diane) MacShane; 12 | ||||||
| 20 | step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and his | ||||||

| 1 | brothers, Gene (Nancy) and William; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | James "Jimmy" S. Zachar, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 5 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 6 | further
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to the family of James Zachar as an expression of our | ||||||
| 9 | deepest sympathy.
