| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James August Glosson, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | May 11, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Glosson was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on | ||||||
| 6 | December 16, 1930 to Clara and Joseph; at the age of 16, he | ||||||
| 7 | joined the United States Army, serving overseas; he married | ||||||
| 8 | Dolores in 1958; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Glosson was a carpenter by trade; he settled | ||||||
| 10 | in McHenry, working in construction; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, James Glosson kept active by working part-time at | ||||||
| 12 | a local bank and gardening; he enjoyed the theater and dining | ||||||
| 13 | out with his wife; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, James Glosson fathered 3 boys, Jim (Sarah), David, | ||||||
| 15 | and Shawn (Barbara); he was the loving grandfather of Erin, | ||||||
| 16 | David, Kelli, Christopher, Jimmy, and India Rose; therefore, be | ||||||
| 17 | it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 20 | James August Glosson, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||

| 1 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
