| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of David Brehm of Sharon, Wisconsin, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on December 14, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, David Brehm was born on March 31, 1948 in | ||||||
| 6 | Marshfield, Wisconsin; his parents were Otto Alfred and | ||||||
| 7 | Marjorie (nee Hamilton) Brehm; he married Barbara Emmer on | ||||||
| 8 | September 16, 1978; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, David Brehm served his country as a member of the | ||||||
| 10 | United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, David Brehm served as a postal clerk at the | ||||||
| 12 | Harvard Post Office for many years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, David Brehm was a member of the Harvard Moose | ||||||
| 14 | Lodge and the Sportsman's Club; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, David Brehm was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay | ||||||
| 16 | Packers fan; he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and | ||||||
| 17 | feeding and watching birds; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, David Brehm was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 19 | and a sister, Shirley Foster; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, David Brehm is survived by 3 children, Richard | ||||||
| 2 | Brehm, Eric (Jamie) Brehm, and Carly (Mike) Matthews; the | ||||||
| 3 | mother of his children, Barbara Brehm; 2 grandchildren, Ellie | ||||||
| 4 | Brehm and Samuel Brehm; and 3 sisters, Ilene Phillips, Roberta | ||||||
| 5 | Schneider, and Iris Bandt; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 7 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 8 | family and friends, mourn the passing of David Brehm; and be it | ||||||
| 9 | further

| 10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
