2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Donald J. Campagna of Alton, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on April 26, 2013; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna was born on November 25, 1937, in | ||||||
6 | Alton; his parents were Joseph Anthony and Elizabeth Campagna | ||||||
7 | and his step-mother was Virginia Campagna; he married the | ||||||
8 | former Marilyn J. Heffron on December 22, 1962, in Godfrey; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna served his country with pride as a | ||||||
10 | member of the United States Army; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna retired as an estimator at | ||||||
12 | McDonnell Douglas in 1997 after many years of service; he also | ||||||
13 | served as a manager at Alton Motorcycle Sales; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna was a member of St. Mary's | ||||||
15 | Catholic Church in Alton; he was also a member of the | ||||||
16 | Alton-Wood River Sportsman's Club, the Alton Eagles Foe No. | ||||||
17 | 254, and the Alton Moose Lodge; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | parents and his granddaughter, Alexis Campagna Hawkins; and

1 | WHEREAS, Donald Campagna is survived by his wife, Marilyn; | ||||||
2 | his daughters, Angie Goska (Mike), Georgia Hawkins (Robert), | ||||||
3 | and Kate Miller (Travis); his grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, and | ||||||
4 | Alex Goska, Emily and Hannah Hawkins, and Delaney, Jesse, and | ||||||
5 | Colton Miller; his brother, Bill Campagna; his half-brother, | ||||||
6 | Patrick McClain; his stepbrother, Mike McClain; and his | ||||||
7 | stepsisters, Eileen Karon Carman, Patty McClain-Evans, and | ||||||
8 | Kathy McClain-Glynn; therefore, be it

9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
11 | his family and friends, the passing of Donald J. Campagna; and | ||||||
12 | be it further

13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
14 | presented to the family of Donald Campagna as an expression of | ||||||
15 | our sympathy.
