2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of William K. Siglar, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | April 25, 2013; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, William Siglar was born on October 13, 1930, in | ||||||
6 | Nebo; his parents were Guy and Alice Lee Siglar; he married the | ||||||
7 | former Lillian Fessler on February 8, 1952, in Pocahontas, | ||||||
8 | Arkansas; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, William Siglar served his country with pride as a | ||||||
10 | member of the United States Air Force for 21 years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, William Siglar served as a postal clerk with the | ||||||
12 | United States Postal Service until his retirement; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, William Siglar was a member of Wood River Masonic | ||||||
14 | Lodge No. 1062, East Alton American Legion Post 794, Wood River | ||||||
15 | VFW Post 2859, and Wood River Moose Lodge 1349; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, William Siglar was preceded in death by his | ||||||
17 | parents and his sister, Joyce Willeford; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, William Siglar is survived by his wife; his sons, | ||||||
19 | Bill Siglar, Dallas Siglar, and Joey Siglar; his daughter, |

1 | Linda M. Siglar; his grandchildren, Joni Ann, Christopher, and | ||||||
2 | Tammy Siglar; his great-grandchildren, Ryan and April Siglar, | ||||||
3 | Damion Lindsay, and Ariana Lavigne; and his many nieces and | ||||||
4 | nephews; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
7 | his family and friends, the passing of William K. Siglar; and | ||||||
8 | be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of William Siglar as an expression of | ||||||
11 | our sympathy.
