| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Donald Ray Britt of Colona, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on March 28, 2021; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Donald Britt was born in Joliet on May 3, 1942; he | ||||||
| 6 | was the son of Paul and Gladys Britt; he married Donette | ||||||
| 7 | Gunter, and they had two children before separating; he served | ||||||
| 8 | in the U.S. Army; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Donald Britt worked for John Deere; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Donald Britt enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar | ||||||
| 11 | and football; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Donald Britt was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 13 | parents; a son; a son-in-law, Tom Hawkins; and his siblings, | ||||||
| 14 | Robert, Brenda, and Sharon; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Donald Britt is survived by his daughter, Kelly | ||||||
| 16 | Hawkins; his son, Kevin Britt; his grandchildren, Devin (Ann), | ||||||
| 17 | Michael, Paige, Morgan, Alexis, Isaak, Jaelie, and Jaline; his | ||||||
| 18 | six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronnie Britt; | ||||||

| 4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
