| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Bruce A. Schurman of Wheaton, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on January 13, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Bruce Schurman was a graduate of Hope College, | ||||||
| 6 | Western Michigan University, and the University of Iowa; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Bruce Schurman retired as President and CEO of | ||||||
| 8 | Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in 1998; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Bruce Schurman was an active member of the Wheaton | ||||||
| 10 | Lions Club and Hope Presbyterian Church; he was also a Trustee | ||||||
| 11 | Emeritus for the Conservation Foundation; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Bruce Schurman was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 13 | parents, Herman and Bertha Schurman, and 2 siblings, Bea | ||||||
| 14 | (Bruce) Hemple and Herbert (Betty) Schurman; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Bruce Schurman was the beloved husband of JoAnn | ||||||
| 16 | (nee Olson) Schurman; the loving father of Brian James | ||||||
| 17 | Schurman; and the loving grandfather of one grandson; | ||||||
| 18 | therefore, be it

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||

| 1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 2 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Bruce A. Schurman; and | ||||||
| 3 | be it further
