SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Dennis E. Norton Sr. of McHenry, who
passed away on January 26, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. was born to Rueben and Beatrice
(Keefe) Norton on October 7, 1941; he served in the United
States Army and married Roberta Kalleck on February 21, 1964;
and
WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. worked as a mechanic and was the
founder of Performance Unlimited; and
WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. centered his life around his
family; and
WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. was preceded in death by his
parents and his sister, Sandra Norton; and
WHEREAS, Dennis Norton Sr. is survived by his wife,
Roberta; his children, Dennis (Michelle) Norton, Denise
(Peter) Hunt, Bonnie (Kevin) Huff, and Michael (Renee) Norton;
and his grandchildren, Kyle Huff, Brianna Huff, Makayla Huff,
Kain Norton, Isaac Norton, Julia Norton, and Brandon Norton;
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Dennis E. Norton Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Dennis Norton Sr. as an expression
of our deepest sympathy.
