| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dan Walsh of Park Ridge, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on January 20, 2011; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dan Walsh was born January 11, 1959; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, He was active in many local organizations such as | ||||||
7 | the Indian guides with his sons, and the Indian Princesses with | ||||||
8 | his daughter; he was also very active in the St. Paul of the | ||||||
9 | Cross parish, participating in the Men's club, assisting in the | ||||||
10 | Sunday Suppers for the Needy, and many other church | ||||||
11 | organizations; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, He and his wife were active in the Bear | ||||||
13 | Necessities Charity for children suffering with cancer; they | ||||||
14 | also helped out in a variety of local community organizations | ||||||
15 | ranging from sports to civic initiatives; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Dan Walsh was the beloved husband of Nancy; the | ||||||
17 | loving father of Jack, Brendan, Connor, and Chloe; the dearest | ||||||
18 | son of Marjorie and the late Thornhill Walsh; the fond brother | ||||||
19 | of Patty Walsh, Michael (Barb), Heidi (Terry) Rielly, Jeanne | ||||||
20 | (Bill) Dinker, and David (Terry); as well as the proud uncle of | ||||||
21 | many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
3 | his family and friends, the passing of Dan Walsh; and be it | ||||||
4 | further

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
6 | presented to the family of Dan Walsh as a symbol of our sincere | ||||||
7 | sympathy.
