| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Peter Michaels, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | January 24, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Peter Michaels was a well-respected and decorated | ||||||
| 6 | officer in the Waukegan Police Department; he was also a member | ||||||
| 7 | of HAPA; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Peter Michaels was the husband of Tina; the loving | ||||||
| 9 | father of Christina and Gabriella Michaels; the devoted son of | ||||||
| 10 | John and Elizabeth Michaels; the dear brother of Angelo (Sofia) | ||||||
| 11 | and Steven (Elizabeth) Michaels; the fond uncle of Gianna, | ||||||
| 12 | Brandyn, Marissa, Elizabeth, Patricia, John, and Dimitri; and | ||||||
| 13 | the beloved nephew, cousin, and friend of many; therefore, be | ||||||
| 14 | it

| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 17 | his family and friends, the passing of Peter Michaels; and be | ||||||
| 18 | it further

| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to the family of Peter Michaels as an expression of | ||||||
| 21 | our sympathy.
