New Act

1 AN ACT concerning responsible State fees.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State
5Administrative Fee Freeze Act.
6 Section 5. Freeze. Except as otherwise provided in this
7Act, no fee imposed by a State agency by rule may be increased.
8"State agency" has the meaning provided in Section 1-7 of the
9Illinois State Auditing Act.
10 Section 10. Applicability. This Act does not apply to fees
11or rates imposed by the Illinois Commerce Commission through
12its hearing process.
13 Section 15. Repeal. This Act is repealed on July 1, 2016.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
