Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person operating a vehicle of the second division weighing more than 8,000 pounds upon a highway of this State shall remove any ice and snow from the hood, roof, and sides of the vehicle that poses a threat to the safety of other persons or property on the highway during operation of the vehicle.

AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
Section 11-1413.5 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/11-1413.5 new)
Sec. 11-1413.5. Ice and snow removal from vehicle. A
person operating a vehicle of the second division weighing more
than 8,000 pounds upon a highway of this State shall remove any
ice and snow from the hood, roof, and sides of the vehicle that
poses a threat to the safety of other persons or property on
the highway during operation of the vehicle.
