AN ACT concerning wildlife.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section
1.3a as follows:
(520 ILCS 5/1.3a new)
Sec. 1.3a. Taking white-tailed deer. The Department shall
set a season during which white-tailed deer may be taken by use
of firearms on the consecutive Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
immediately before the fourth Thursday in November, commonly
referred to as Thanksgiving Day.
