AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Regional Transportation Authority Act is
amended by adding Section 3B.17 as follows:
(70 ILCS 3615/3B.17 new)
Sec. 3B.17. Commuter rail; board at all stations. No later
than 60 days following the effective date of this amendatory
Act of the 96th General Assembly, commuter rail trains must
stop and allow passengers to board and exit at all commuter
rail stations.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
