1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
527-23.13 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 5/27-23.13)
7 Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety. A school district may offer
8its students a course on hunting safety as part of its
9curriculum during the school day or as part of an after-school
10program. The State Board of Education may prepare and make
11available to school boards resources on hunting safety that may
12be used as guidelines for the development of a course under
13this Section. Nothing in this Section shall be construed to
14allow anyone to bring to school any object listed in
15subdivision (1) or (2) of subsection (d) of Section 10-22.6.
