1 | AN ACT concerning finance.
| ||||||
2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
4 | Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by | ||||||
5 | changing Section 20-43 as follows:

6 | (30 ILCS 500/20-43) | ||||||
7 | Sec. 20-43. Bidder or offeror authorized to transact do | ||||||
8 | business or conduct affairs in Illinois. In addition to meeting | ||||||
9 | any other requirement of law or rule, a person (other than an | ||||||
10 | individual acting as a sole proprietor) may qualify as a bidder | ||||||
11 | or offeror under this Code only if the person is a legal entity | ||||||
12 | authorized to transact business or conduct affairs in Illinois | ||||||
13 | prior to submitting the bid, offer, or proposal.
