AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Dead Animal Disposal Act is amended
by adding Section 3 as follows:
(225 ILCS 610/3 new)
Sec. 3. Exemption from Act. A collection center to collect
cooking grease or cooking oil from the public hosted by a
not-for-profit organization exempt from federal income taxes
under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or a
government entity is exempt from the registration, licensure,
fee, and reporting requirements under this Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
