1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act is
5amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 15/1) (from Ch. 111, par. 5351)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027)
8 Sec. 1. The The practice of clinical psychology in
9Illinois is hereby declared to affect the public health,
10safety and welfare, and to be subject to regulations in the
11public interest to protect the public from persons who are
12unauthorized or unqualified to represent themselves as
13clinical psychologists or as being able to render clinical
14psychological services as herein defined, and from
15unprofessional conduct by persons licensed to practice
16clinical psychology. This Act shall be known and may be cited
17as the "Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act".
