2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Michael | ||||||
4 | J. Rosenquist, staff attorney in the Legislative Reference | ||||||
5 | Bureau, of River Forest; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Michael J. Rosenquist was the cherished son of | ||||||
7 | John and Kathleen, nee Lane, Rosenquist; the loving brother of | ||||||
8 | Kristin, Patrick, and John Rosenquist; the devoted grandson of | ||||||
9 | Mary and the late James Lane and the late Edward and Elizabeth | ||||||
10 | Rosenquist; the dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many; the | ||||||
11 | beloved fiancee of Christine Infanger; and the dear friend and | ||||||
12 | co-worker to the staff of the Legislative Reference Bureau; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mike was a 1998 graduate of Fenwick High School, a | ||||||
14 | 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a | ||||||
15 | 2005 graduate of Marquette University School of Law; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Mike was an attorney for the Legislative Reference | ||||||
17 | Bureau in Springfield for the last 3 years, where he was | ||||||
18 | affectionately known as "Rosey"; he worked in the areas of | ||||||
19 | education, utilities, and financial regulation; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Mike is remembered as quick-witted, sharp-minded, | ||||||
21 | and one of the nicest people to work with on pending |

1 | legislation; he knew no strangers, always had a kind word for | ||||||
2 | everyone, and cared deeply for his friends and family; and
| ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Mike never hesitated to show concern for others, | ||||||
4 | and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him; | ||||||
5 | therefore, be it

6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
7 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
8 | mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of | ||||||
9 | Michael J. Rosenquist; and be it further
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Michael Rosenquist as a symbol of | ||||||
12 | our sincere sympathy.
