1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, Anne Marrin has served as City Administrator for | ||||||
3 | the City of Prospect Heights since 2010; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin oversaw Prospect Heights' recovery | ||||||
5 | from a severe fiscal crisis and worked tirelessly to put the | ||||||
6 | City on a path leading to the fiscal soundness that the City | ||||||
7 | now enjoys; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin represented the City of Prospect | ||||||
9 | Heights through her service on the Northwest Municipal | ||||||
10 | Conference Board of Directors, the Illinois City/County | ||||||
11 | Management System, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook | ||||||
12 | County Board of Directors, the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid | ||||||
13 | Network Board of Directors, the Harper College Advisory Board, | ||||||
14 | the Prospect Heights Tourism Board, and the Prospect Heights | ||||||
15 | Emergency Operations Planning Committee; and

16 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin played a vital role in the | ||||||
17 | reestablishment of the Prospect Heights Police Department and | ||||||
18 | the re-hiring of laid-off police officers; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin was recognized throughout the | ||||||
20 | northwest suburban area as one of the key individuals leading | ||||||
21 | the positive progress that has taken place in Prospect Heights; |

2 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin served and supported both the City | ||||||
3 | Council and the Mayor of Prospect Heights during her tenure, | ||||||
4 | performing her duties in an outstanding manner, and made | ||||||
5 | significant contributions to the betterment of life for the | ||||||
6 | citizens of Prospect Heights; and

7 | WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin will be leaving her job as Prospect | ||||||
8 | Heights City Administrator to take on a new role as Village | ||||||
9 | Administrator for the Village of Fox Lake; therefore, be it
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
11 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
12 | we honor Anne Marrin for her dedicated and committed years of | ||||||
13 | service as City Administrator for the City of Prospect Heights; | ||||||
14 | and be it further

15 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
16 | presented to Anne Marrin as a symbol of our esteem and respect | ||||||
17 | for all of her accomplishments while serving as the City | ||||||
18 | Administrator of Prospect Heights.
