| 2 | WHEREAS, Frances Johnson is a loyal Democrat, actively | ||||||
| 3 | involved in the political process; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, She is an engaged citizen who honors her civic | ||||||
| 5 | duties and has vigorously campaigned for Democratic candidates | ||||||
| 6 | at the local, township, county, State, and national levels; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, She has spent countless hours stuffing envelopes, | ||||||
| 8 | distributing campaign literature, knocking on doors, attending | ||||||
| 9 | Democratic fund raisers, and serving as an election judge; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, The late Retired United States Air Force Master | ||||||
| 11 | Sergeant Thomas W. Johnson also served the Democratic Party, | ||||||
| 12 | acting as Chouteau 7 Democratic Precinct Committeeman, | ||||||
| 13 | Chouteau Township Trustee, Chairman of the North Central | ||||||
| 14 | Democratic Committee, Madison County Executive Board Member, | ||||||
| 15 | and President of the Madison County Township Officials | ||||||
| 16 | Association; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, The late Mr. Johnson inspired Mrs. Johnson to | ||||||
| 18 | serve the Democratic Party through grass roots political | ||||||
| 19 | efforts; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Frances Johnson is celebrating her 90th birthday; | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 3 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 4 | we congratulate Frances Johnson on her 90th birthday and wish | ||||||
| 5 | her continued good health and happiness for years to come; and | ||||||
| 6 | be it further

| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to Frances Johnson as a symbol of our respect and | ||||||
