2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jeremy Nush of Boy | ||||||
4 | Scout Troop 73 of Grayslake on the occasion of attaining the | ||||||
5 | coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, A Court of Honor Ceremony will be held on February | ||||||
7 | 28, 2010 in his honor; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, His service project was to plan, coordinate, and | ||||||
9 | lead a blood drive with Lifesource; after many hours of work by | ||||||
10 | many scouts, 30 units of blood were collected to help save 87 | ||||||
11 | lives; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Jeremy has been involved in scouting since the age | ||||||
13 | of 7; he earned the Arrow of Light as a Cub Scout, the highest | ||||||
14 | award for that age; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Jeremy has been an assistant patrol leader, patrol | ||||||
16 | leader, den chief, merit badge counselor, and senior patrol | ||||||
17 | leader; he is a member of the Order of the Arrow; and has also | ||||||
18 | served as his troop's official Order of the Arrow | ||||||
19 | representative; and

20 | WHEREAS, Jeremy Nush serves as a model of hard work, |

1 | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of | ||||||
2 | Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
3 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
4 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
5 | congratulate Jeremy Nush and wish him the best in his future | ||||||
6 | endeavors; and be it further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to Jeremy Nush as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
