| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Edwardsville High School | ||||||
| 4 | wrestler Luke Odom on winning the 160-pound State Wrestling | ||||||
| 5 | Championship at the 2019 IHSA State Wrestling Tournament; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Luke Odom compiled a season record of 50 wins and | ||||||
| 7 | 1 loss; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Luke Odom has had a stellar career at Edwardsville | ||||||
| 9 | High School, where he broke the record for most wins; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Luke Odom is a three-time state qualifier and has | ||||||
| 11 | two third-place state tournament finishes; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Luke Odom was named male Athlete of the Month for | ||||||
| 13 | Edwardsville High School for January 2020; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Luke Odom will be taking his wrestling talents to | ||||||
| 15 | the University of Illinois; therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 17 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 18 | we congratulate Luke Odom on winning the 160-pound State | ||||||
| 19 | Wrestling Championship at the 2019 IHSA State Wrestling | ||||||
