| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the St. Edward | ||||||
| 4 | School boys football team, the Big Red, on winning the | ||||||
| 5 | Northwest Catholic Conference Championship; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The Big Red finished the season with a record of | ||||||
| 7 | 7-1; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, The team beat St. Juliana 16-0 in the playoff game | ||||||
| 9 | and Immaculate Conception 26-7 in the championship game; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, It was the first time since 1981 that St. Edward | ||||||
| 11 | had won the Northwest Catholic Conference Championship; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Michael Kelly; the Assistant | ||||||
| 13 | Coaches are: Kevin Pietruszka, Chris Cusack, Eric Beck, and Joe | ||||||
