| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the West Central Junior | ||||||
| 4 | High School 8th grade boys relay team, the Cougars, on placing | ||||||
| 5 | first in the 4x200m relay at the 2024 Illinois Elementary | ||||||
| 6 | School Association (IESA) Class 2A 8th Grade Boys State Track | ||||||
| 7 | and Field Meet; and

| 8 | WHEREAS, The Cougars 8th grade boys relay team earned | ||||||
| 9 | first place in the 4x200m relay with a time of one minute and | ||||||
| 10 | 39.82 seconds; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, The Cougars 8th grade boys relay team also placed | ||||||
| 12 | first in the 4x400m relay, finishing with a time of three | ||||||
| 13 | minutes and 50.48 seconds; and

| 14 | WHEREAS, The Cougars 8th grade boys relay team includes | ||||||
| 15 | Dallas Surratt, Brady Engelbrecht, Beau Donovan, Brody Lawson, | ||||||
| 16 | Jacob Grady, and Abe Bonjean; and

| 17 | WHEREAS, The Cougars 8th grade boys relay team is led by | ||||||
| 18 | Coach Jason Likes; therefore, be it
