| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Gabriel Flemenbaum of Boy | ||||||
| 4 | Scout Troop 62 in Northbrook on the occasion of attaining the | ||||||
| 5 | rank of Eagle Scout; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Gabriel | ||||||
| 7 | Flemenbaum built planters for the Moriah Congregation's | ||||||
| 8 | preschool to beautify the area and create outdoor garden space | ||||||
| 9 | in order to teach the children about plants and their life | ||||||
| 10 | cycles; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Currently, Gabriel Flemenbaum is a senior at Adlai | ||||||
| 12 | E. Stevenson High School; he participates in several | ||||||
| 13 | extracurricular activities at school, including track, band, | ||||||
| 14 | Superhero Club, Interactive Gamer's Club, and E-Sports Club; | ||||||
| 15 | and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Gabriel Flemenbaum has been the recipient of | ||||||
| 17 | numerous awards and honors for his work in the community, | ||||||
| 18 | including the Order of the Arrow, the Arrow of Light, and the | ||||||
| 19 | Jewish Scout Ner Tamid Award; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Gabriel Flemenbaum has earned a number of merit | ||||||
| 21 | badges for his work in the Boy Scouts, including Citizenship in | ||||||

| 1 | the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the | ||||||
| 2 | World, Camping, Communications, Emergency Preparedness, | ||||||
| 3 | Environmental Science, Family Life, First Aid, Personal | ||||||
| 4 | Fitness, Personal Management, and Swimming; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Gabriel Flemenbaum's parents, Violeta and Arieh | ||||||
| 6 | Flemenbaum, and his sisters, Natalie and Daniela Flemenbaum, | ||||||
| 7 | are proud of his achievements and his willingness to serve his | ||||||
| 8 | community; therefore, be it

| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 10 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
