| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Regina Elaine Rush of | ||||||
| 4 | Shiloh on the occasion of her retirement after 28 years | ||||||
| 5 | educating pre-school children in
East Saint Louis School | ||||||
| 6 | District 189's Early Childhood Program; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Regina Rush started her tenure with East Saint | ||||||
| 8 | Louis
School District 189 as a Teacher's Assistant and | ||||||
| 9 | Diagnostic Tester; in May of 1998, she graduated from Southern
| ||||||
| 10 | Illinois University-Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in
| ||||||
| 11 | Early Childhood Education; she was hired by District 189 as an | ||||||
| 12 | Early
Childhood Teacher in September of 1998; in 2005, she made | ||||||
| 13 | the
President's List and received a Certificate of Recognition | ||||||
| 14 | for Academic
Excellence from Kaskaskia College in Centralia; | ||||||
| 15 | and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Regina Rush has served as a Team Leader in the | ||||||
| 17 | Early Childhood Program, on the
Kindergarten Readiness | ||||||
| 18 | Committee, and on the Retirement Committee; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Regina Rush is a member of Shiloh M.B. Church in
| ||||||
| 20 | Centreville, where she serves on the Board of Trustees and is a
| ||||||
| 21 | member of the Scholarship Committee; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, A retirement dinner will be held in Regina Rush's | ||||||
| 2 | honor at Fischer's Restaurant in Belleville on Saturday, May | ||||||
| 3 | 30, 2015; therefore, be it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 5 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 6 | congratulate Regina Elaine Rush on her retirement after 28 | ||||||
| 7 | years educating pre-school children in
