2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate David Meador of | ||||||
4 | Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Salem, on the occasion of | ||||||
5 | being inducted into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, David Meador graduated from Salem Community High | ||||||
7 | School with the class of 1966; after attending the Illinois | ||||||
8 | Visually Handicapped Institute and Chicago Lighthouse for the | ||||||
9 | Blind, he graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1971; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, David Meador has been very successful in the | ||||||
12 | insurance field; he also serves as a motivational speaker at | ||||||
13 | engagements throughout the nation and is the author of "Broken | ||||||
14 | Eyes, Unbroken Spirit"; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, David Meador will be inducted into the Tennessee | ||||||
16 | Golf Hall of Fame during an event in his honor at the Golf | ||||||
17 | House Tennessee in Franklin, Tennessee on September 21, 2011; | ||||||
18 | therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
20 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
21 | we congratulate David Meador on the occasion of being inducted |
