| 2 | WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives would like
| ||||||
| 3 | to recognize Karen L. Hackett for serving as Chief Executive
| ||||||
| 4 | Officer of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons for over
| ||||||
| 5 | 13 years; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Prior to joining the Academy, Karen Hackett held | ||||||
| 7 | the
position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating | ||||||
| 8 | Officer
of the American College of Healthcare Executives from | ||||||
| 9 | 1995 to
2003; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Karen Hackett has also been Vice-President for the
| ||||||
| 11 | Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council; she has previous
| ||||||
| 12 | healthcare provider and consulting experience as well; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Karen Hackett is board certified in healthcare | ||||||
| 14 | management
and a Fellow of American College of Healthcare | ||||||
| 15 | Executives; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Karen Hackett is a Fellow of American Society of
| ||||||
| 17 | Association Executives (ASAE); she served as the Chairwoman of | ||||||
| 18 | the
ASAE from 2010 to 2011, and a Certified Association | ||||||
| 19 | Executive; therefore, be it

| 20 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||

| 1 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 2 | congratulate Karen L. Hackett on her many years of service, and
