| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate McKenzie Pratt on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of her being the first female state champion wrestler | ||||||
| 5 | for Edwardsville High School; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt has been wrestling since 2016 and | ||||||
| 7 | has been competing in jujitsu and weight training since 2019; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt is a sophomore and has only had | ||||||
| 10 | two losses in her high school wrestling career; she placed | ||||||
| 11 | second in the previous state tournament; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt has had many accomplishments | ||||||
| 13 | within her high school career; she is the first female to win a | ||||||
| 14 | state championship in wrestling this year and was the iCAN | ||||||
| 15 | Clinic Female Athlete of the Month; therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 17 | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 18 | we congratulate McKenzie Pratt on her accomplishments in her | ||||||
| 19 | high school wrestling career, and we wish her and her family | ||||||
| 20 | the best of luck in their future endeavors; and be it further
