| 2 | WHEREAS, The U.S. Census Bureau has admitted that they | ||||||
| 3 | undercounted the State of Illinois during the 2020 Census; | ||||||
| 4 | therefore, be it

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 6 | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 7 | we urge the Biden Administration to adjust federal funding | ||||||
| 8 | levels for undercounted areas and to see that Illinois | ||||||
| 9 | receives the funds appropriate to its actual population, not | ||||||
| 10 | the undercount; and be it further
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, That the State of Illinois should take all | ||||||
| 12 | appropriate steps to ensure undercounted communities within | ||||||
| 13 | the State receive their proper funding; and be it further
| ||||||
| 14 | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | ||||||
| 15 | delivered to President Biden and Governor Pritzker.
