2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Jacksonville | ||||||
4 | Middle School Cheerleaders, the Crimsons, on winning the 2018 | ||||||
5 | Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Large Cheer | ||||||
6 | Division Championship; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, On January 12, 2019, the Crimsons competed for the | ||||||
8 | first time in the Large Cheer Division; a total of 67 teams in | ||||||
9 | multiple divisions competed in Peoria, with eight teams | ||||||
10 | competing in the Large Cheer Division; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, The Crimsons won their first Large Cheer Division | ||||||
12 | title with an overall score of 89.73; this is the team's second | ||||||
13 | title for Turner Junior High, Jacksonville Middle School | ||||||
14 | cheerleading; the Crimsons previously won the small Cheer | ||||||
15 | division in 2012; and

16 | WHEREAS, The Crimsons are coached by Cheer Coach, Emily | ||||||
17 | Hudson; and

18 | WHEREAS, The eighth grade Crimsons are Rylee Brogdon, | ||||||
19 | Claire Burrus, Meredith Gallo, Leah Hoffman, and Kayleigh | ||||||
20 | Sullivan; and

1 | WHEREAS, The seventh grade Crimsons are Bentley Clayton, | ||||||
2 | Kimmy Davis, Mackenzie Gerard, Bella Summers, Elle Van Noy, and | ||||||

4 | WHEREAS, The sixth grade Crimsons are Taylor Deweese, | ||||||
5 | Annemarie Fraas, Madison Helmich, Brennen Leifheit, Ella | ||||||
6 | Rajaguru, Olivia Stewart, and Isla Willis; and

7 | WHEREAS, The Crimsons serve as models of hard work, | ||||||
8 | perseverance, and excellent team spirit for the people of the | ||||||
9 | State; therefore, be it

10 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
11 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
12 | we congratulate and applaud the Jacksonville Middle School | ||||||
13 | Cheerleaders, the Crimsons, on winning the 2018 Illinois | ||||||
