HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the passing of Robert
4I. "Bobbie" Moore on December 20, 2018; and
5 WHEREAS, Bobbie Moore was born on October 1, 1987; the
6youngest of three sons born to the union of Walter Sr. and
7Robin Moore in Chicago; he had an unbreakable bond with his
8brothers; he graduated from Morgan Park High School and
9attended Tennessee State University; he enjoyed and loved all
10sports; football was one of his favorites, as he played Arena
11Football in Arizona; and
12 WHEREAS, Bobbie Moore admired his father and wanted to
13become a power lineman just like him; he attended IBEW trade
14school and Dawson Skills Center, where he learned the overhead
15lineman skills; his passion for cooking was expressed in his
16desire to operate a catering service with his brother, and he
17attended Kennedy King Culinary Arts School; his second love was
18his enjoyment of the outdoors; he climbed trees effortlessly;
19working as a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Experts, he stepped
20out on faith, resigned, and started his own company, Black
21Walnut Tree Artisans, with his cousin Arthur Powell Jr.; and
22 WHEREAS, Bobbie Moore was prepared to do just what he

1needed to do; he lived a life of purpose and was relentless; he
2was a dedicated husband to Juliette, whom he married in
3September of 2016; he was a loyal friend, who took pride in
4serving the community, with so many dreams; he developed
5everlasting relationships with those he encountered; he was
6rooted in faith, strengthened by love, and family oriented; his
7warm, caring spirit will forever be remembered; he leaves
8behind joyful memories and a legacy that will be cherished by
9family, friends, and neighbors; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
11HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we mourn the passing of Robert I. "Bobbie" Moore and extend our
13sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
14and loved him; and be it further
15 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Bobbie Moore as an expression of our
17deepest sympathy.
