| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 3 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE | ||||||
| 4 | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate the portion of | ||||||
| 5 | Roosevelt Road from Cicero Avenue to Austin Avenue in Chicago | ||||||
| 6 | as Muhammad Ali Road in honor of "The Greatest" and his | ||||||
| 7 | illustrious legacy in the ring; and be it further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation | ||||||
| 9 | is requested to erect at suitable locations, consistent with | ||||||
| 10 | State and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs | ||||||
| 11 | giving notice of the name of Muhammad Ali Road; and be it | ||||||
| 12 | further
