1		HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2		RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3		NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4		SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate the portion of
5		Roosevelt Road from Cicero Avenue to Austin Avenue in Chicago
6		as Muhammad Ali Road in honor of "The Greatest" and his
7		illustrious legacy in the ring; and be it further
8		RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation
9		is requested to erect at suitable locations, consistent with
10		State and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs
11		giving notice of the name of Muhammad Ali Road; and be it
12		further
13		RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
14		delivered to the Secretary of the Illinois Department of
15		Transportation and the family of Muhammad Ali.
