Creates the Taxing Body Debt and Convention Control Act. Contains only a statement of legislative intent.

AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Taxing
Body Debt and Convention Control Act.
Section 5. Legislative intent. It is the intent of the
General Assembly that employees of taxing bodies may not attend
conventions outside of the corporate boundaries of the taxing
body or accept hospitality in an official capacity from any
entity that is connected, directly or indirectly, with a debt
financial firm or a debt underwriter.
