AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections
2-3.153, 10-20.53, and 34-18.45 as follows:

Sec. 2-3.153. Recordings for blind and dyslexic students;
funding. The State Board of Education shall provide funding to
school districts for the provision of recordings for blind and
dyslexic students.

Sec. 10-20.53. Recordings for blind and dyslexic students.
Subject to funding by the State Board of Education, a school
board shall require a school to provide recordings for its
blind and dyslexic students.

Subject to funding by the State Board of Education, the board
