Bill Title: Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts shall study the fiscal impact of the implementation of Public Act 100-285, dealing with expungement and confidentiality processes for delinquent minors, (rather than Public Act 90-590) upon probation departments. Provides that the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts may submit a report of that study to the General Assembly within 12 months after the enactment of the amendatory Act.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
705 ILCS 405/1-18

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts shall study the fiscal impact of the implementation of Public Act 100-285, dealing with expungement and confidentiality processes for delinquent minors, (rather than Public Act 90-590) upon probation departments. 1 AN ACT concerning courts.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by
5changing Section 1-18 as follows:
6 (705 ILCS 405/1-18)
7 Sec. 1-18. Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts;
8report. The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts shall
9study the fiscal impact of the implementation of Public Act
10100-285 upon probation departments. The Administrative Office
11of the Illinois Courts may 90-590 (the Juvenile Justice Reform
12Provisions of 1998) which is under its authority and submit a
13report of that study to the General Assembly within 12 months
14after the enactment of this amendatory that Act of the 100th
15General Assembly. The Administrative Office may, in addition to
16other requests, make a request for funding of the
17implementation of that Act.
