Bill Title: Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. 20 ILCS 2505/203 new
Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Revenue shall allow taxpayers to open an online tax account for the payment of the Illinois income tax liability regardless of whether the taxpayer has filed a return in Illinois.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the Civil
Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section
203 as follows:

Sec. 203. Online Tax Accounts. The Department shall allow
taxpayers to open an online tax account for the payment of the
Illinois income tax liability regardless of whether the
taxpayer has filed a return in Illinois.
